Bought my PK300 (AF version, on sale cheaper than the regular PK version at the time) two years ago, used it a 30 or so times for low and slow smoking of chicken, ribs, salmon, pork. I love it. Never fails. Finally bought this divider basket and I'm extremely happy with it after the first three uses. Nice to be able to contain the charcoal so easily. Makes the whole process easier and faster. Using the basket to contain the charcoal increases airflow, because it prevents pile-ups of charcoal directly against the sides and back of the unit, which blocks air. Temp control using it overall seems easier. It's a plus with cleanup too. Burning coals more efficiently leads to less ash falling into the bottom of the unit. After a burn, I can remove the basket and shake it out over the trash can adn remove any lump that looks burnt, and am good to go for the next smoke/grill session. It's a plus from start to finish. I'd recommend it to any PK owner.
