Works great with Kick Ash pan. I can't believe how easy this is to use and so effective at getting through ashes out without making a mess. Game changer. It is also easier to start the fire and regulate.

I can’t believe I’ve been cooking all these years without this basket. It’s been absolutely great. I love the way it lets me indirect cook with the divider and the airflow was so great. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a clean cook. A+

Compared to the original cast iron grate, the Kickash basket makes a huge difference: Not only is the handling much more convenient, also the coal gets a lot more air and thus ligting the coal is even easier.

I don't know how anyone can use a BGE without a Kick Ash Basket! This is a huge timesaver and helps me keep it clean every other cook.... I do wish the basket were just slightly wider so it could sit on top of the cook plate and still be full width.
