I recently purchased the Grillmster Bundle for my 5 year old XL BGE. After completing several slow and low cooks, and a couple of high and fast cooks I can say the termperature control has been improved. On a 10 hour pork butt @ 250F I saw no variation and never made a vent setting adjustment. The basket divider allows me to save on charcoal when just grilling a few burgers and provides additional flexibility to cooking options. The bucket makes ash cleanup a faster process. Very happy with the products and happy to endorse them

This ash basket works great

I like the divider n ash pan. But I feel the basket grates are to wide. I use twice as much wood charcoal as before. So much falls between the grates. Esp for what it costs

Used this kit two times so far. The airflow is much improved, around 20 minutes from start to 350 degrees. With vents slightly open the temperature maintained throughout the cook. Love it and great investment.

It is criminal that the BGE costs what it does and requires an aftermarket upgrade like the Kick Ash Basket. It is so much better than the stock setup that it begs the question: "Isn't this obvious...?"

While I appreciate the lifetime warranty on the BGE, it doesn't mean that I want to have to keep filing warranty claims, which I suspect the cause of which are temperature variations caused by ash build up and poor airflow.

Cleaning is so quick and easy that I do an overhaul before every cook. They even send a nice little brush to help you finish the job! (and a beer koozie :)

Let's face it... Some of us could use a good ash kicking now and then. I know that was me.

Next stop - upgraded hinge assembly. Another BGE component that's half-baked and under-engineered.
