Makes cleaning easer I am using it on a Kamado joe jr. the verdict is still out on the low and slow cook I don't think I can get as much fuel into the grill and it seem to burn faster in the basket when it comes to grilling it works really good I can put lots of air threw the basket and get a really hot fire really quick . Over all very good product very well built and worth the money .

I have a Goldens Cast Iron Kamado and the model KAB-CJ fits this. I have only used it once so far but it made cleanup much easier than without the KickAsh basket. This was my main objective and it has been fulfilled.
